Impaired driving is deadly serious and to inspire change, we revved up what it means to captivate and educate audiences. Together with the Wyoming Department of Transportation and the Governor’s Council on Impaired Driving, we buckled up to launch a new impaired- driving campaign. Familiar drinking and drug phrases are paired with attention-grabbing, visceral imagery. The campaign was tailored to resonate across many platforms, including digital media, TV, radio/streaming, and strategic print ad placements. To avoid the research-proven shortcomings of finger-wagging or blood-and-guts approaches, we pursued a balance of somber honesty while adding just a bit of witty rhetoric to make it memorable.
